News: 2 taken to hospital after vehicle slams into Chinatown building
A vehicle crashed into a building in the area of North Hotel Street and Smith Street at about 9:45 p.m.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services treated two men in the vehicle at the scene and then took them to an area hospital. There was no immediate word on their conditions.
Police said the driver was issued citations for Delinquent Vehicle Tax, No Certificate of Inspection and No Certificate of Registration in Vehicle.
Hotel Street was shut down for about two hours between Smith Street and Nuuanu Avenue while the scene was being cleared and investigated.
